Now this was a fun project. The writer, JR, remembered the power duo we became when he worked for Gougeon Brothers in Bay City. He wrote technical content. I shaped his words into video scripts. Recalling the successful video products we produced, JR contacted me to help with his writing. At a book signing – how did he say it? “I hired Kat for a reason. She was a true editor – someone I at times hated, but her changes, tweaks and suggestions I always loved.”
I designed the book layout, cleaned and enhanced the photography and newsprint images and wrote the section, “About the Author”. JR’s version about himself was much too humble. I’m waiting for his next manuscript – fiction this time. Duo for the third time – a novel idea!
